PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trunk line at the rear of an original cover from being bent with large curvature at the time of opening the original cover without being remarkably restricted in terms of design. SOLUTION: This original cover 12 whose rear end is turnably coupled on an image forming device main body 10 opens/closes an original placing part by turning. The trunk line 24 connecting from the rear end face of the cover 12 to the main body 10 is led out. The leading-out direction of the line 24 is a direction nearly along the rear end face of the cover 12 and nearly parallel with the width direction of the cover 12.
