FUEL CHANNEL BOX AND ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fitting property of a fuel channel box by setting the width of the flat part of the dimple of the fuel channel box opposite to the pad of an upper tie plate wider than that of the pad. SOLUTION: At the flat part of a dimple 201 of a fuel channel box 2 being positioned opposite to a pad 301 a of an upper tie plate 3, width W1 of the flat part is set wider than width W2 of the pad 301 a. More specifically, the width W1 of the flat part of the dimple 201 is wider than the width W2 of the pad 301a of the upper tie plate 3, thus continuously allowing the external surface of the pad 301a to oppose the flat part of the dimple 201 even when the fuel channel box 2 is placed to a fuel bundle where the position of the pad 301 a of the upper tie plate 3 is different, and hence performing secure contact of each of them by thermal expansion difference during the operation of a reactor for suppressing crosswise vibration.
