PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-profile battery preventing short-circuiting due to contact of the lead to the metallic foil of a case material. SOLUTION: In this low-profile battery, an electric power generating element constructed of a positive and negative electrodes and an electrolyte is sealed with a case material 3 consisting of a laminated film with a metallic foil to be a core material. One end part of a lead of the positive electrode and/or negative electrode is drawn from the sealed part of the case material 3. In this case, a sealing material 1 is interposed between the lead and the case material 3 and a part of the sealing material 1 is protruded outside from the end of the sealing material 1. |
