<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable oscillation waveform, free of distortion in an oscillation circuit, using a quartz oscillator. SOLUTION: The resistance values of resistive elements 25 and 26 are set to be identical, and an inverter 20 for oscillation and amplification is constituted, so as to satisfy W1/L1=n(W2/L2), where L1 and W1 are the gate length and the gate width of a pMOS transistor 23 respectively, L2 and W2 are those of an nMOS transistor 24 respectively, and (n) is the ratio of the turning-on resistance of the pMOS transistor 23 to that of the nMOS transistor 24.</p> |
