PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the reliability of a connecting function. SOLUTION: A battery terminal A comprises a flexible fastening piece 20 and a fastening means 22, wherein the flexible fastening piece 20 is wound around the perimeter of a battery post at least more than one turn and is capable of deforming in the diameter-reducing direction by means of the fastening means 22 imparting tensile forces to the both ends of the flexible fastening piece 20. As a screw-in operation of a fastening bolt 19 pushes a taper element 18 downward, the taper element 18 presses a pulling element 21 to pull the flexible fastening piece 20 at the both ends thereof so that the flexible fastening piece 20 deforms in the diameter-reducing direction and achieves a state of connection with the battery post. The flexible fastening piece 20 adherently fastens the battery post along all the perimeter, resulting in excellence in the reliability of the connecting function.
