The grommet is for connecting a venting line to a fuel tank nipple with internal nipple support. The nipple has an insertion cone, behind which is an outward-projecting annular surface locking the grommet and the line connected to it. The grommet (3) has a sealing lip (8), which when the connection is fitted, is radially prestressed against the cone jacket (11) of the nipple support head.
