Instrument panel for vehicle; has hooded cut-out areas for instruments with removable inserts to allow exchange of instruments

The panel has insertable display instruments, covered by hoods (7,8), which are formed in one piece with the panel. Cut-outs in the panel bordered by the hoods are smaller than the corresponding dimension of the display instruments (2). An insert piece (5,9) can be removed from under or behind the instruments in the driving direction (FR), so that when it is removed, a free space is left, to enables the insertion or removal of the instruments.
