<p>The invention concerns a global control method for a vehicle engine transmission unit consisting of a heat engine (7) and a gear change mechanism (8) by measuring the position of the accelerator pedal. The invention is characterised in that the engine (7) and the gear change mechanism (8) receive respectively a load set-point ( alpha ) and a transmission set-point ( omega ), established by means of respective mapping of the engine (7) and the gear change mechanism (8), on the basis of a common power set-point (P) established from the accelerator pedal position (p).</p> |
