<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coolant capable of automatically starting cooling as necessary by coating a coolant causing endothermic reaction with water with a coating film having a specific melting point. SOLUTION: This coolant is obtained by coating (A) a coolant causing an endothermic reaction with water with (B) a coating film having a melting point of >=25 deg.C, pref. 25 to 40 deg.C, more pref. 25 to 30 deg.C. The component B is desirable to be solidified again after melted once, and its solidification temperature is desirable to be <=25 deg.C and more desirable to be 20 to 25 deg.C. Urea, ammonium nitrate, ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, sodium carbonate, guanidine sulfamate, etc. is used as the component A. The component B is desirable to be formed of a hydrophilic polymer, hydrophobic polymer or the like. The hydrophilic polymer is e.g. (modified) gelatin, starch, agarose, and the hydrophobic polymer is e.g. an olefin-based polymer, paraffin wax.</p> |
