PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center takeoff type power steering device capable of ensuring the location of a gear housing and a power cylinder and allowing a coupling member for a tie rod with a rack shaft to move smoothly in a window-form part in the power cylinder. SOLUTION: A center takeoff type power steering device 10 is configured so that a gear housing 11 and a power cylinder 13 are located about the rotating direction round the center axes of the two members by a pin 42 press fitted into one of them and that the gear housing 11 and power cylinder 13 are secured about the axial direction by abutting a stopper ring 46 installed on one of them to a lock nut 48 screwed on the other in their axial direction.
