PREPARATION OF RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE BY CAST MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a resin molded article with no huskiness on its surface in cast molding. SOLUTION: In a method whertein a liq. resin is fed into a mold in which a reinforcing fiber base material with a specified shape is arranged and the reinforcing fiber base material is impregnated with this liq. resin, which is then cured, wet index of the surface of a mold is made the same as or larger than the surface tension of the fed liq. resin. The wet index is the value of surface tension of a mixed liq. when the surface of the mold is coated with a series of the mix. liq. with successively diffeent surface tensions and the mixed liq. becomes just to wet the surface of the mold. When a CP resin is selected as the liq. resin, as the mold, a mold with a surface wet index of at least 340μN/cm is pref. selected.
