PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a unit building having a well-lighted, unoppressed main entrance by a method wherein a building unit for open ceiling having an opening at its bottom and a window opening at its external wall part is attached to the upper part of a building unit for main entrance having an opening at its upper part. SOLUTION: A building unit 16 for main entrance has wall panels at its three sides while entrance door leaves 164 are provided at its center wall panel, and the upper part of the main entrance enclosed with the wall panels is opened. A building unit 26 for open ceiling is approximately in a regular square at its planate shape and in a size the same as the building unit 16 for main entrance, and the height therefor is lower than other building units 21 for a second story. The building unit 26 for open ceiling also has wall panels at its three sides, and a window opening 264 is provided at the center wall panel forming the external wall. An opening for void is provided at the bottom of the building unit 26 for open ceiling. Thereby, the main entrance becomes bright with light coming in from the outside through the window opening 264 and the opening for void and at the same time, a ceiling becomes high by virtue of the opening with brightness and unrestrainedness ensured while oppressiveness being eliminated.
