PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate the leaven for natural yeast bread by housing a vessel within a bread baking mold placed within a baking chamber having a heating means, and performing the fermentation and propagation of the yeast forming the bread material for natural yeast bread within the vessel. SOLUTION: A domestic automatic bread maker has a heater 1 for raising the temperature within a baking chamber 2 and a bread baking mold 3 attachably and detachably placed in the baking chamber 2, and a kneading blade 4 is attachably and detachably installed to a shaft 5 within a bread baking mold 3. A large pulley 8 is rotated by the power of a motor 9, whereby the kneading blade 4 is rotated to knead and degas the bread material, and the heater 1 and the motor 9 are controlled by a control part 10. When the leaven is formed prior to the making of natural yeast bread, Hoshino natural yeast and water are put in a leaven vessel 11 and put in the bread baking mold 3 after a leaven vessel lid 12 is put thereon. The current-carrying to the heater 1 is controlled by the control part 10 to regulate the inner part of the baking chamber 2 to a temperature suitable for fermentation and propagation of the yeast.
