PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film for a discrimination label being effective against diversion or alteration and having easy disintegrability, which film comprises at least one member selected from among a plurality of cycloolefin polymers having specified structures. SOLUTION: This film comprises at least one member selected from among (A) a random copolymer of ethylene with a cycloolefin represented by formula I or II, (B) a ring-opening (co)polymer of a cycloolefin represented by formula I or II, (C) a product of hydrogenation of component B, and (D) a graft polymer of component A with component C. The cycloolefin polymer has a glass transition temperature of at least 70 deg.C, a limiting viscosity number of 0.001-20 dl/g (at 135 deg.C in decalin), a melt flow index of 0.1-200 g/10 min (under a load of 2.16 kg), and a softening point of at least 30 deg.C. In formula I, n and q are each 0 or 1; m is 0, 1, or greater; R1 to R18, Ra, and Rb are each hydrogen, a halogen, or a hydrocarbon group. In formula II, p and q are each 0, 1, or greater; m and n are each 0, 1, or 2; and R1 to R19 are each hydrogen, a halogen, a hydrocarbon group, or an alkoxy.
