PRODUCTION OF AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF FLUORINECONTAINING COPOLYMER AND AQUEOUS COATING MATERIAL COMPRISING THE DISPERSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous dispersion of a fluorine-containing copolymer capable of providing a coating film not only having excellent weather resistance but also causing neither wrinkle nor crack after forming the coating film. SOLUTION: In this method for producing an aqueous dispersion of a fluorine- containing copolymer by adding an emulsified solution containing a part or the whole of a mixture of two or more kinds of monomers copolymerizable with a fluoroolefin monomer to an aqueous medium in the presence of the fluoroolefin monomer and subjecting the monomers to emulsion polymerization, the composition of the monomer mixture in the emulsified solution is continuously or discontinuously changed.
