SOLUTION: In this ropeway with a gliding tool automatic returning mechanism, comprising a gliding tool 4 formed by a running block portion 5 and a suspending rope 6, and mounted on a gliding rope installed between a starting base 1 and a finish point strut 2, so that a player suspends from the suspending rope 6 and glides from a starting point A to a finish point B, the gliding tool automatic returning mechanism for accumulating the returning force of the gliding tool 4 by the gliding of the gliding tool 4 from the start point A to the finish point B, and making the accumulated returning force act on the gliding tool 4 in accompany with the releasing of the suspending force at the finish point B for automatically returning the gliding tool 4 to the starting point A.
