PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject working method intended to support a tree in good operability through using specific fixtures and tightening belt for a root ball so as to prevent the root ball from damage or cracking. SOLUTION: This working method comprises the following practice: a plurality of fixtures 1 for root ball each having a pair of support members 5, 5 disposed slantly so as to run apart from each other downward are arranged along the root ball of a tree, and a tightening belt 27 for fastening the root ball tight is set therearound so as to afford a plurality of V-shaped designs against the fixtures 1 side and seized on the fixtures 1; alternatively, a plurality of fixtures 1 for root ball each having a pair of support members 5, 5 disposed slantly so as to run apart from each other downward are arranged along the flank of the root ball of a tree, and a tightening belt 27 for fastening the root ball tight is set around the upper surface of the root ball so as to afford a plurality of V-shaped designs against the fixtures 1 side and seized on the fixtures 1.
