PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front plate which is simply wearable by oneself even for a person with a handicapped hand or unable to put one's hands back, has an excellent wearing state in which the front plate is neither rotated together with a band nor shifted when the band tied in front of the body is rotated back by a front band connection. SOLUTION: In a front plate for a Japanese dress in which a front plate main body A is formed in a band state in such length as to make the main body go around a body part and to join the end parts, the front plate main body A is internally equipped with a core plate 1 to be applied to the abdomen and both end parts of the front plate main body A are equipped with mutually detachable fasteners 2 and 3, the joining parts at both the ends of the front plate main body A are made to locate approximately at the right side position of the body part, a lower fastening belt B provided with detachable fasteners 2 and 3 at both ends are arranged at the back of the main body. The fasteners 2 and 3 of the lower fastening belt B are seized and fixed approximately at the left side position of the body part so that the front plate main body can be installed at a right position to make the center of the core plate of the main body come to the center of the front of the abdomen.
