PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overload indication device for a motor-driven winch in an inexpensive configuration indicating the limitation of the load to be admitted by the winch. SOLUTION: In the bottom surface of an outer cylinder 2, a hole 7 is provided to be penetrated by the shank 9 of a hook 8, and a washer 6 is put on the top of the shank 9 and secured by a nut 10, and a spring 5 is set between the inner bottom surface of the outer cylinder 2 and the washer 6, and when a heavy object exceeding the limitation of the load admitted by a motor-driven winch 20 is hung down at the hook 8, the graduations 12 provided on the shank 9 are exposed at the bottom 11 of the outer cylinder 2.
