PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic nonwoven fabric which has excellent elasticity, a good skin touch, and an excellent heat sealing property, and is suitable for sanitary materials such as diapers, disposable underwear, supporters, cataplasm base fabrics, and the like. SOLUTION: This elastic non-woven fabric having an excellent heat sealing property is obtained by applying a high pressure fluid treatment to a fiber web comprising latent crimpable conjugate fibers 1 and thermally adhesive fibers to three-dimensionally interlace the constituting fibers each other and then thermally treating the interlaced fiber web at a temperature not thermally adhering the constituting fibers each other, thereby expressing the three- dimensional crimps of the latent crimpable conjugate fibers 1. The latent crimpable conjugate fibers 1 comprise two or more kinds of polymers having different melting points, respectively, and express the three-dimensional crimps 2, when thermally treated. The thermally adhesive fibers have a higher melting point TBL( deg.C) than a temperature T( deg.C) at which the latent crimpable conjugate fibers 1 express crimps in an amount of >=17 crimps/25 mm.
