PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically regenerate activated carbon without deteriorating its quality by supplying hot water under a subcritical pressure into an adsorption column, when the activated carbon which has adsorbed lubricant in the column is regenerated. SOLUTION: Inlet side switching valves 16A, 16B are connected to the top parts of adsorption columns 10A, 10B, and outlet side switching valves 17A, 17B are connected to the bottom parts. In addition, a subcritical pressure hot water circulating means 18 for supplying/circulating hot water under subcritical pressure, is connected to the interiors of the adsorption columns 10A, 10B. The subcritical pressure hot water circulating means 18 is constituted mainly of a hot water feed line 19 which is coupled to the inlet side switching valves 16A, 16B and supplies the hot water under subcritical pressure, a hot water drain line 20 coupled to the outlet side switching valves 17A, 17B and a water tank 21 connecting both lines 19, 20 together. The inlet side switching valves 11A, 11B and the outlet side switching valves 13A, 13B of the adsorption columns 10A, 10B are alternately opened/closed to suppy LPG to the adsorption columns 10A, 10B from a feed line 12. Thus lubricant and the like dissolved in the LPG are adsorbed and removed to be sent to a storage tank and the like from a drain line 14. |
