PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a mirror by press molding a metallic plate while increase in weight is avoided by providing the mirror with a rib projected in the reverse direction to the bending directions of a main bent part and an auxiliary bent part at a connecting part between the main bent part and the auxiliary bent part, and forming the mirror by press molding the metallic plate. SOLUTION: This mirror has a main bent part 1a formed to be projected toward an opening of a housing 3, an auxiliary bent part 1b which has a smaller radius of curvature than the main bent part 1a and is projected toward the opening to be connected to the main bent part 1a at the forward end of the housing 3, and a rib 1c which is a connecting part between the main bent part 1a and the auxiliary bent part 1b and projected in the reverse direction to the bending directions of the main bent part 1a and the auxiliary bent part 1b, and the mirror is formed by press modling a metallic plate such as a stainless plate, a copper plate or the like. The auxiliary bent part 1b may have a fixed radius of curvature, or may be gradually decreased in radius of curvature as it goes away from the main bent part 1a.
