PURPOSE: A cathode for magnetron is provided to have a long life cycle and strengthen to return impact by electron or ion; CONSTITUTION: A cathode for magnetron comprising a convex-concave(112, 111) is formed on a surface of a cylinderical base metal(11A), thermal electron emitter material(12) are fixed on a concave(111) of the convex-concave, a convex(112) of the convex-concave is aslope in degree of about 25-63-to a normal line of the base metal(11A).
