PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous operation by a user at the time of taking out a unit from occurring. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a pawl 381b controlling the taking out, when a unit TU being permitted to be inserted/pulled out is inserted with regard to a device main body, a finger putting part 383b where the finger is put at the time of taking out the unit, and a handle 383 possible of turning, and moreover by the turning operation of the handle at the time of taking out the unit, the control by the pawl 381b is released, and at the same time, the finger putting part 383b is made in a state of permitting the finger to be put thereon. The unit is taken out and put in at the state of being mounted inside the slide frame, the pawl is controlling a pin 411a of the slide frame, and the handle is disposed on the slide frame.
