PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an undefined mask matched with a masking area in a short time. SOLUTION: The preprocessing of expansion/contraction, averaging and isolated point removal, etc., using the various kinds of filters is performed for source images first, then a binarization level is decided and binarization is performed for the source images. Then, an area equal to or above or below the binarization level is registered as the undefined mask. The undefined mask is used for masking the area for not performing an inspection or a processing at the time of inspecting or processing an inspection area. |
