PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a place where oneself is positioned with 5 to 10-fold precision compared with a conventional equipment by measuring and storing a measured electric field intensity of each base station and erasing information on the measured electric field intensity of this base station when there is a base station which does not reach a previously fixed reference electric field intensity. SOLUTION: It is possible that a terminal 3 can receive radio incoming from base stations 1a to 1e at the spot of its own. However, the radio of the station 1e is small in the measure electric field intensity and information on the measured electric field intensity is deleted by comparing with the reference electric field intensity. In the stations 1a to 1d, the measured electric field intensity is sufficiently obtained and concerning these circular arcs 7a to 7d of the stations 1a to 1d, an overlapped surface is obtained. Then, an optional point 21 is set from previously stored map information. The measured electric field intensity is compared with all the estimated electric field intensity of each point 21 to utilize for correcting the electric field intensity of straight advance radio to display a positional area where closed curves obtained from the plural stations 1a to 1d are overlapped.
