摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven image density without generating uneven light receiving amount due to flaws, even when light outputted from a light emitting element is almost a collimated light with respect to an image read optical axis in the case that the light emitting element with less generating heat and a high color temperature such as an LED is used for a light source. SOLUTION: In addition to a main light source 66 on an image reading optical axis, a secondary light source 82 with an optical axis tilted by a prescribed angle (30 degrees) with respect to the optical axis of the main light source 66 is provided at upper stream and a downstream of a photo film 22 receiving the light from the mainlight source 66 in its carrying direction. The light from the secondary light source 82 compensates for the scattering of the light of the main light source 66, resulting from the light nearly made collimated to supplement a deficient luminous quantity, so that the light of uniform luminous quantity can be emitted on a required area on the face of the photo film 22.
