PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphoric acid fuel cell power generation installation for which an ammonia removing device is miniaturized and the reliability of the ammonia removal is enhanced by efficiently removing the ammonia derived from a material fuel. SOLUTION: This phosphoric acid fuel cell power generation installation is provided with: a steam separator 4; a material preheater 6 for raising the temperature of a mixed gas formed by mixing fed steam with a material fuel; a reformer 7 for producing a reformed gas from the mixed gas; a CO transformer 8 for transforming the reformed gas into a modified gas; and a fuel cell 9 for generating power by using the modified gas as a fuel gas. The installation additionally includes an ammonia removing device composed of: an ammonia absorbing tower 16; a regenerative heat exchanger 14 for lowering the temperature of the fuel gas and for performing heat recovery by the use of the fuel gas from which the ammonia was removed by the tower 16; and a cooling heat exchanger 15 connected to the tower 16 and the regenerative heat exchanger 14 for lowering the temperature of the fuel gas introduced into the ammonia absorbing tower 16. |
