PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the heat-developable photosensitive material reduced in influence of interference fringes and, especially, suitable for forming a printing plate. SOLUTION: The heat-developable photosensitive material contains organic silver grains and photosensitive silver halide grains and a reducing agent and a hydrazine derivative and/or quarternary onium salt compound on a support, and a ratio of the support thickness hp to the maximum wavelength hr of exposure wavelengths satisfies the following expression; 140<=hp/hr<=190, and it is preferred that the maximum wavelength is 700-1200 nm.
