PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the measurement accuracy of a binding fiber by measuring a mixed object in a pulp slurry using blue light with a specific wavelength as a main constituent. SOLUTION: A pulp slurry is supplied from an inlet valve 3 and is unloaded from an outlet valve 5 through a measurement cell transmission pipe 4. The inlet valve 3 and the outlet valve 5 are opened and closed simultaneously, the image of the pulp slurry that is stopped in closing is picked up by a CCD camera 6, and the pulp slurry is exchanged in opening. The opening/closing operation and image pickup operation are repeated in arbitrary set time. A light source 1 of white light is set to a wavelength of approximately 500 nm or less by a blue filter 2, and light through the measurement cell transmission pipe 4 is received by the CCD camera 6 and is subjected to arithmetical processing for display by an image-analyzing device 7 based on the setting value of contrast for recognizing as a mixed object being inputted in advance, thus measuring the binding fiber with light color with unclear contract without poorly affecting the measurement of the mixed object (black dust) with clear contrast.
