A non-radio frequency energy sensitive sheet (76, 124, 228) shaped to cover a palm and wrist is wrapped over a radio frequency energy sensitive sheet (70, 136, 220), a splint (60), attachment strap (50, 140, 194) first ends, and a rod (58, 142) configured to receive the other ends of the attachement straps around the rod, and radio frequency energy is injected into the wrap by a mold (84, 166, 232) having non-radio frequency energy sensitive press walls kept below sheet melting temperature until the second sheet is fused to itself around the splint and around the rod and bonded to the first sheet by the radio frequency generated heat provided by the second sheet.
