Display for use in printing processes

The display panel has a substrate on which an array of light-emitting elements (2) and light-sensitive elements (3) are mounted. The elements are contained within a region formed by a highly reflective plastics layer (4). The light is transmitted through a diffuser foil (5) and this is covered with a glass plate (6) which is printed with a display scale.
