The interspace between the core and sleeve is filled with an elastomer (4) which adjoins the support areas (7,7') inside the sleeve but is not connected to same there, but is only connected to the inside of the sleeve in the remaining areas. An axially aligned groove (8) is formed in the elastomer at the transition between a support area and a remaining area. Independent claim describes method of making bush by preparing support areas to prevent the elastomer connecting with the sleeve at these areas.
