The fastening (1) has a housing (4) and a bolt or clamp element (19) on a support part (16). The support part is displaced from a release into a locking position by means of a drive unit (6) containing a drive motor (5) with gear (7) positioned after it. The gear comprises a cam wheel (9) on which is fixed a control cam (11) positioned eccentrically in relation to the cam wheel's center axis (20). A strip-shaped coupling (23) between the cam and closure element has a first cavity (24) in which the control cam fits, and contains a second elongated cavity (25) into which fits a pin-shaped extension (22) joined to the support part of the closure element.
