<p>An antibiotic showing an excellent antibacterial effect on gram-positive sphericals (in particular, methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and being produced by a strain belonging to the genus Flavobacterium isolated from soil is provided to thereby give chemotherapeutics having a low toxicity, being capable of achieving an antibacterial effect within a short time and having little side effects.</p> |
