A road marking material (1) used to form a road marking (2) whose layer thickness is at most about 0.7 mm, the material (1) comprising pentaerythritol ester, elastomer, paraffin- and/or naphthene-based oil, and an extender. The proportions of the components with respect to one another are: 100 parts of pentaerythritol ester, 22 to 61 parts of elastomer, 20 to 55 parts of paraffin- and/or naphthene-based oil, and 140 to 400 parts of an extender. |
