摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly detect and separate a useful microorganisms by means of judging the ability of a sample microorganism on the decomposition of organic halogen compounds by the degree of the conformity of a specific nucleic acid sequence and carry out environmental cleaning-up using the useful microorganism by which many kinds of chemical substances are decomposed. SOLUTION: The useful microorganism is detected by means of judging the ability of a sample microorganism on the decomposition of organic halogen compounds, e.g. trichloroethylene, dichloroethylene and the like, by the degree of the conformity of the nucleic acid sequences containing at least one of nucleic acid sequences selected form the nucleic acid sequences homologous or complementary to the nucleic acid sequences of formula I-IV. Further, it is favorable that the useful microorganism is selected from more than 76.1%, more than 80.3%, more than 75.5%, more than 83.3%, more than 81.1% and more than 81.6% in the degree of the conformity based on the nucleic acid sequences homologous or complementary to the nucleic acid sequences of formula I, II, III, IV, V and VI, respectively, and the environment is cleaned up by the use of this useful microorganism.
