PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high quality printing by pressing a squeegee on a screen processed plate at a pref. printing pressure regardless of the weight of a squeegee unit. SOLUTION: A squeegee 4 movable along the surface of a screen processed plate, a pressure cylinder 6 connected with the squeegee 4 and provided with a cylinder room 8 for forwarding and a cylinder room 10 for retreating, a valve 60 for controlling fluid pressure for retreating which controls the pressure of a fluid introduced into the cylinder room 10 for retreating and a control device 70 which sends a signal to the valve 60 for controlling fluid pressure for retreating so as to feed a retreating pressure P1 to a cylinder 10 for retreating when the squeegee 4 is separated from the screen processed plate and sends a signal to the valve 60 for controlling fluid pressure for retreating so as to feed an adjusting pressure P3 for printing pressure to a cylinder 10 for retreating when the squeegee 4 is brought into contact with the screen processed plate under a specified printing pressure, are provided.
