PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for housing reserve seedlings for a rice transplanter for freely shakably attaching a reserve seedling-carrying platform to each reserve seedling-carrying platform support with a headed connecting pin at a low cost. SOLUTION: This apparatus for housing reserve seedlings is obtained by inserting and passing a headed connecting pin 14 through an area ranging from mounting part bodies 13b made of a resin of a reserve seedling-carrying platform 11 to each reserve seedling-carrying platform support 12. A slip-off stopping piece part 18 is integrally molded in the mounting part bodies 13b. The slip-off stopping piece part 18 is provided with a stopper part 18a for performing slip-off stopping actions in the head part 14a of the headed connecting pin 14.
