摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a member having, on one or both sides of a substrate, a self-adhesive layer that has a skin having been subjected to plural plasma treatments in sequence, which modify some of self-adhesive characteristics of the layer to create a variety of self-adhesive characteristics in an efficient manner. SOLUTION: The self-adhesive layer is preferably subjected first to a nitrogen plasma treatment and subsequently to an oxygen plasma treatment. A plurality of plasma treatments performed in sequence enable the introduction with efficiency of functional groups such as, for example, a hydroxyl group, a carbonyl group, a carboxyl group, an amido group, an amino group, peroxide and the like to the adhesive layer, particularly, its surface layer. As a result, while keeping a good bulk characteristic as a whole, which is based on the adhesive composition initially preset over the entirety of the adhesive layer, through an internal layer, the skin is efficiently modified to improve adhesion and holding power. It is preferred that the self-adhesive layer is made of a polyisobutylene, and the CO/CH absorbance area ratio of the skin is twice that of the inside, with an adhesion being not lower than 1.3 times and a holding powder being a value corresponding to a stipped distance not larger than 70%, relative to the adhesive layer not subjected to plasma treatments.
