PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove weeds inside a nursery stock protective cover of cylindrical shape and to afford an environment suitable for growing nursery stocks through reducing the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the protective cover. SOLUTION: This subject nursery stock protective cover is so designed that, for protecting nursery stocks N from the vermin damage by wild animals or the like, a weeding open hole 2h is provided on part of the lower portion of a cylindrical body 2 covered around the nursery stocks N, the outside of the body 2 is fittedly engaged with a slide element 3 in a slidable manner so as to make the hole 2h closable/openable by the slide element 3, and a portion of the slide element 3 to be superposed on the hole 2h is furnished with a plurality of small perforations 3r through which air is allowed to flow.
