PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a segment for a shield tunnel which can be joined without using a metal fitting. SOLUTION: A recess type connector 26 made of a resin is embedded in a segment main body and a ring joining end face on one side of this segment main body in the central direction of lining, while a projection type connector made of a resin which fits in with the recess type connector 26 is embedded in a piece joining end face on the other side. The recess type connector 26 is constituted of a female type tubular part 28 and an anchor part 29 formed integrally in the rear part of the female type tubular part 28, and it is embedded with the fore end of the female type tubular part 28 opened in the ring joining end face on one side. The projection type connector is constituted of a male type projecting part to be pressed in the female type tubular part 28 and of an anchor part formed integrally in the rear part of the male type projecting part, and it is embedded with the male type projecting part projected from the ring joining end face of the other side.
