PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find travel speed of a mobile farm machine by providing a mark whereby operation becomes heavy at every specified vehicle speed position in the middle of a stroke when an operator tries to move a shift lever for operating a continuously variable transmission, and by counting the number of marks as the state meeting engine speed to be conformable to each work. SOLUTION: This mobile farm machine is provided with a belt transmission type continuously variable transmission 3 between an engine 1 and a primary transmission case 2 and a shift lever 4 for performing a stepless change of a gear ratio of the belt transmission type continuously variable transmission 3. A speed position sensing tool 6 is disposed near the shift lever 4 to put a mark to operating movement of the lever 4, and in cases where a sub- transmission mechanism 7 performs switching between low speed traveling L and high speed traveling H, the sensing step number and position of the speed position sensing tool 6 are changed in response to the low/high switching.
