PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a magnet accurately approach a switch mounted on a washing tank in the closing of a door by accurately mounting a magnet as a component of a door opening/closing detector on the door. SOLUTION: In a dishwasher which has the body 23b of a door for opening or closing an upper portion of a washing tank provided with a door exterior plate A and a reinforcing plate B amounted inside the door exterior plate A, a bent part B4 forming a housing space R along a lower periphery part of the door exterior plate A is provided at an end part of the reinforcing plate B which approaches an upper open periphery part of the washing tank in the closing of the door, and a magnet 71 is securely housed into the housing space R to arrange it along the lower periphery of the door exterior plate A while a switch is disposed to operate as the magnet 71 approaches the upper open periphery part of the washing tank corresponding to the magnet 71. With such an arrangement, a door opening/closing detector is built.
