STEP STRUCTURE OF ENGINE UPPER PART OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize it as a stale working step and enhance the safety of maintenance working by spanning frame members constituting the engine room of a construction machine with a step plate. SOLUTION: A vertical frame member 15 constituting the frame of an engine room is erected on the four corners around an engine 6 and a radiator 11, and the top parts of each vertical frame member 15 are spanned with a short frame member 17 and a long frame member 16 to constitute the frame of the engine room. The upper faces of the long frame member 16 are spanned with a step plate 19 having required working width and strength, and a projection 20 such as the bolt of the lower face of the step plate 19 and the hole 18 of the upper face of long frame members 16 and 16 are engaged, and a maintenance working step is attached to the upper part of the engine 6. The safety of maintenance working is improved by this stable step.
