PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate recognition by providing a display part displaying the contents of each operation mode by lighting of letters or the like on the body of a sanitary device operated in a plurality of operation modes. SOLUTION: A display part comprising a surface sheet 10, a diffusion sheet 11, an attaching base 12 and a display substrate 15 is provided on the case body of a sanitary device provided on a western style toilet closet part. Next, the sheet 10 is formed of a smoke material and shaded except at a plurality of character strings and printed to pass light in the character strings, the base 12 is matched on the character string of the sheet 10 to be set off in the form of a recess, and after it is fitted to the front opening part 14 of the case body, the sheets 11 and 10 are stuck. Next, a display substrate 15 with a plurality of arrays of emission diodes 16 is attached to the rear face of the base 12, the array of the diodes 16 is in the state where they are inserted in each recess part of the base 12. When the array of the diodes 16 of the character string desired to be displayed is lighted, light is reflected on the inclination reflection face of the recess part to be diffused by the sheet 11, and only the character string is lighted. Thereby the letters can be easily recognized.
