PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a absorptive article such as a throw-away diaper with which the sweating during wearing is prevented and which is excellent in a property to prevent the leakage from leg parts and provides a good feel of use. SOLUTION: This absorptive article includes a front surface sheet 2, a leakproof sheet and an absorber 4 and is formed with a pair of the right and left leg parts 7. A pair of three-dimensional guards 6 having three-dimensional guard elastic members 64 are formed. The three-dimensional guards 6 are formed of hydrophobic sheet materials 61 in such a manner that the base ends 60 of the three-dimensional guards 6 exist on the inner side of the diaper than the side edges of the absorber 4. The sheet material 61 forming the three- dimensional guards 6 are extended more toward the outer side of the diaper than the side edges of the absorber 4 from the base ends 60. The leg parts 7 are formed of the extended sheet materials 61 and the hydrophilic sheets laminated on the rear surface side of the sheet materials 61 in such a manner that the skin contact side 7a is hydrophobic and that the non-skin contact surface side is hydrophilic.
