PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation and to reduce the cost by forming the face material of a blow-off type snow fence with flexible sheets, loosening one lower side to form opening sections, and fluttering the sheets with wind force to reduce the sticking of snow. SOLUTION: Flexible snow sheets 20 are fitted to frame bodies suspended with horizontal bars 11 between a plurality of supports 10 with lower ends loosened to form opening sections 21, and this blow-off type snow fence M is constituted. The flexible sheets 20 are easily fluttered by wind force, snow is hardly stuck to the sheets 20, and a snow storm blows toward the leeward side through the opening sections 21. Mesh sheets may be used in place of the flexible sheets 20, or pulleys may be provided at the apexes of the supports 10, and lifting ropes may be wound so that the sheets 20 can be easily fitted or removed by the actions of the ropes. The flow of the snow storm is easily made a laminar flow, and the blow-off effect of snow is improved, thereby the snow fence M can be simply installed at a low cost.
