PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand ground cleaner capable of collecting fine dust, increasing work efficiency, and sifting satisfactorily irrespective of the dry and wet status of sand ground, and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: A sand ground cleaner comprises a self-propelling body frame 1, a screen 4 which is disposed on the underside of the body frame 1 aslant toward the lower front and sifts sand mixed with dust while moving it rearward by rotating a number of shafts 9 and 21 in which a number of sift forming members comprising a star type soft material having a number of arms bent so as to move toward the rear in rotating direction are incorporated and which are installed variably so that the members adjacent to each other form equal intervals, and a scraper 40 which is disposed forward of the screen and of which front end part can be inserted into the sand ground. It further comprises a sand scraping device 45 which is disposed forward of the scraper and scrapes and backward by the rotation of a rotor 51 with a scraping plate 50 and a dust box 53 storing sifted product on the screen.
