PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage to a transmission case caused by its incorrect positioning by flowing the electric current to a conductive sensor through a spreader part and a snap ring when the incorrectly positioned snap ring is contacted with the conductive sensor. SOLUTION: When a snap ring 26 is not located on a proper position in its mounting process, that is, when a spreader part 34 begins to widen to the outside or displace, a raised contact part 39 or a conductive contact piece 36 is contacted with the snap ring 26, and the incorrect positioning of the snap ring 26 is informed to a worker before a transmission case is damaged. That is, when the incorrectly positioned snap ring is contacted with the raised contact part 39, the electric current flows from the frame earth 52 to the raised contact part 39 and the conductive contact piece 36 through the spreader part 34. A detection wire 48 connected to the conductive contact piece 36 provides a passage for returning to a power source 54 through an interface circuit 50.
